Hand Rankings:

In 2-7 Triple Draw the lowest 5 card hand wins the pot.
The best hand is .
Ace play for high only and straights and flushes counts against you.
Because Aces play for high, is not considered a straight but an “Ace high”.

Up to 6 players are allowed to play in the same game.

In 2-7 Triple Draw a button ( the "dealer button" ) indicates who the dealer is. The deal moves clockwise between the players.

2-7 Triple Draw is played with two blinds, the "small blind" and the "big blind". Before any cards are dealt the blinds must be posted. The player to the left of the dealer posts the small blind and the next player in turn posts the big blind.

The blinds are considered as "live" bets. If you have posted a blind you are only required to make up the difference, if any, between the blind and the current bet. The players in the blinds have the option to fold, call, check or raise in turn.

Each player receives 5 cards dealt face down.

After the first betting round is completed each player is allowed to discard 0-5 cards and will draw new cards. After each draw there is another betting round. This is repeated until everyone still in the pot has had the option to draw a total of three times. Each player have 30 seconds to draw cards, if he fails to act within this time he will stand pat (draw 0 cards) and not be able to bet or raise the pot in the next betting round (online rule). If he acts in time during the next draw he will be able to bet in that round.(online rule)

To make the draw you click on the cards you want to discard and press the “Discard” button. The cards you have chosen to discard will be grey. Before you have pressed the “Discard” button you can change your selection by clicking on the grey card again.(online rule)

Betting order:

In 2-7 Triple Draw there are 4 betting rounds and the same structure as in Texas Hold’em Limit is used. The first betting round takes place after each player is dealt his 5 cards. In this round the player to the left of the big blind is first to act. In the following betting rounds, after each draw, the first active player to the left of the dealer button starts the action. Both players with and without a blind are allowed to raise the pot.

If no more betting takes place, after all the cards have been dealt out, there is a showdown to determine the winner. The lowest 5 card hand wins the pot. If two or more players show the same hand they split the pot.

If there was betting after the last draw the player who made the last bet or raise must show his hand first. If there was no betting, the first remaining player to the left of the dealer shows his hand first.

Insufficient cards:

If insufficient cards remain to complete the draw the mucked and discarded cards are shuffled and used to complete the draw. A player will never get back the cards he discarded in that draw but may receive another players discards.
